thelot What a treat to have these crispy boards shared with the community after all these years! It’s amazing that almost every note was captured from their Colorado trip! It should be noted that during “TMWSIY” portion of the show Trey mentions that they played Wilson earlier that evening. It’s kind of surprising they didn’t perform Gamehendge during their time in Colorado, but I guess it’s no more surprising that they held off on performing the musical in it’s entirety until 1994…but I digress. YEM cuts in during the buildup to the “ Wash Uffizi” section. From what Trey says during set 2 it sounds like there may’ve been more to set 1 than what circulates. The show overall is pretty straightforward for 1988. Great banter throughout which in itself makes this show special. What a treat it must’ve been to see them back then let alone seeing them in a place as beautiful as Telluride! Highlights include YEM, Curtain With, Jesus Left, “A” Train and Bold as Love. It should also be noted that during I Didn’t Know Mike substitutes “picture of Otis” for “picture of Warren” referring to the now infamous, Warren Stickney.
