As I always say, a Phish show is always a party, so there is always fun to be had, but if the experience is supposed to lead to IT, the band has got a bit of work to do to get me back there. Taking a deep breath now and waiting for all the thumbs down to rain down upon this comment. Lolz.

Feelings are never right or wrong. They just are. It’s a little hard to for me understand why phish heads (of all shades of crustiness) are so high on how they’re playing right now, and I don’t have to. I’m glad they love it. When I’ve listened to summer tour thus far, I’ve heard a lot of missed changes and uninspired playing (see: Tweezer from Great Woods, which was painful to listen to) mixed in with some pleasant moments. But they don’t really sound that competent or confident playing their own music right now,
